Fashionbone collects personal information when you register or request information from us. The personal information we collect at the time of registration is listed below:

Subsequent to registration, you may submit additional information about yourself, including:

Body type
Height
Biographical details
Style preferences
Pictures of yourself and your outfits
Details about your outfits

You may change and delete your personal information by signing in to your Fashionbone account and selecting "My Profile". Even after you remove information from your profile or delete your account, copies of that information may remain viewable elsewhere to the extent it has been shared with others, it was otherwise distributed, or it was copied or stored by other users.

When you submit an outfit, you may designate it as “private” and it will not be viewable by other users, though Fashionbone administrators will still be able to see the picture. If you designate an outfit as “public”, it will be viewable by any user. You may toggle the private/public status of each of your outfits at any time from “My Profile”.

You may also score other users’ outfits and post comments about their outfits. This information is public. Comments that you post to another user’s outfit may be subsequently deleted either by you, by the user to whom that outfit belongs, or by the site administrator.

If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on the Site, we may collect such information into a file specific to you.

You may also enter your friends emails or usernames to see if they are registered with Fashionbone or to invite them to register. In this circumstance, we collect the email addresses you enter into the website.

Information Gathered that is Not Submitted by a User

The Website may also collect non-personal information associated with your identity. We collect this data to improve the Website and include:

Time
File
Data transferred
Browser type and version
Operating system

Site activity information.

We keep track of the actions you take on Fashionbone, such as adding a user to My Circle, adding an outfit to your Favorites, creating a closet, forwarding an outfit, and commenting on an outfit. In some cases you are also taking an action when you provide information or content to us. For example, if you post a comment or added a user to your Circle, in addition to storing the actual text you uploaded, we might log the fact that you posted a comment or added a user to your Circle.

Cookie Information.

We use "cookies" (small pieces of data we store for an extended period of time on your computer, mobile phone, or other device) to make Fashionbone easier to use, to make our advertising better, and to protect both you and Fashionbone. For example, we use them to store your login ID (but never your password) to make it easier for you to login whenever you come back to Fashionbone. We also use them to confirm that you are logged into Fashionbone, and to know when you are interacting with our advertisements. You can remove or block cookies using the settings in your browser, but in some cases that may impact your ability to use Fashionbone.

If you do not want us to store metadata associated with content you share on Fashionbone (such as photos), please remove the metadata before uploading the content.

Fashionbone follows the guidelines established by the Federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA). Therefore, we will never knowingly accept or solicit personally identifiable information from a user known to be under the age of thirteen (13). Parental participation.

We strongly recommend that minors 13 years of age or older ask their parents for permission before sending any information about themselves to anyone over the Internet and we encourage parents to teach their children about safe internet use practices. Use of Gathered and Submitted Information

We will not sell or rent Your personal information to others, except to the extent necessary to fulfill any requests by You to share content through another Website or partner.

Fashionbone may combine Your information with other information about You that Fashionbone receives from other sources.

Your Username and any content you generate are displayed throughout the Site. Therefore these data are available to the public. All of your activities on the Site will be identifiable to your Username. Other people can see your outfits, items, descriptions, comments, and any other content you have created on the Website.

You and other users may use tools like RSS feeds, email, mobile phone address books, or copy and paste functions, to capture and export information from Fashionbone, including your information and information about you.

Information you share with third parties

Sometimes the advertisers who present ads on Fashionbone use technological methods to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. You may opt-out of the placement of cookies by many of these advertisers here. You may also use your browser cookie settings to limit or prevent the placement of cookies by advertising networks.
